What is The Structure and Characteristics of Feldspar Grinding Mill

2023-08-10
The hardness of feldspar ranges from 6 to 6.5, accompanied by a high compressive strength. Following purification, it finds extensive applications across various industries. Employing a feldspar grinding machine for achieving finer granularity facilitates subsequent mineral processing operations. When selecting the appropriate feldspar grinding machine, factors such as ore characteristics, mill capacity, and desired powder size should be duly considered. The fineness of the grinding machine can be easily adjusted during operation to ensure optimal production capacity and environmental sustainability.

About Fledspar Grinding Mill

The primary challenge in selecting a feldspar mill lies in identifying a mill that caters to your specific requirements. The first factor to consider is the powder size. For fine powder processing (50-400 mesh), you can choose between ball mills or high-pressure suspension roller mills. However, for higher-end feldspar powder processing (300-3000 mesh), ultrafine grinding machines or ultrafine vertical grinding machines are recommended.

Ball Mill

The ball mill has an output capacity of 20-200 tons per hour, with a maximum feeding size of 25 mm and a powder particle size ranging from 50 to 200 mesh. The components of the feldspar ball mill include the feeding part, discharging part, turning part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electric control), etc. The hollow shaft is made of cast steel and can be replaced with a new inner lining. The rotating gear is made through cast hobbing process and the cylinder is embedded with wear-resistant lining for exceptional durability against wear. The machine operates smoothly and reliably.

The machine consists of a feeding section, a discharging section, a turning mechanism, and a transmission unit (including reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electric control). The hollow shaft is constructed from cast steel and the lining can be easily replaced. The rotating large gear is precisely machined using casting hobbing technique. The cylinder block is embedded with wear-resistant lining to ensure excellent resistance against wear. Furthermore, the machine operates smoothly and reliably.

YGM High Pressure Grinding Mill

The high pressure grinding mill has a production capacity of 1-50 tons per hour, with a maximum feeding size of 35 mm and a powder particle size ranging from 50 to 400 mesh. It is suitable for grinding various materials with Mohs hardness below 9.3, including calcium carbonate, barite, dolomite, calcite, limestone, kaolin, bentonite, marble, gypsum, quartz, feldspar clay talc fluorite white mud mica refractories glass and approximately 1000 other kinds of materials. The standard configuration of the high pressure mill includes the main engine reducer powder classifier cyclone deduster dust collector blower control cabinet motor and pipeline. Optional accessories include crusher bucket elevator and feeder.

The jaw crusher breaks the large material into the required particle size, which is then transported to the storage hopper by the bucket elevator. Subsequently, it is uniformly and continuously fed into the main machine for grinding through the vibration feeder. The ground powder is subsequently conveyed by air flow from the blower to the classifier for grading. Particles that meet the desired fineness are directed through a pipe to be collected in a cyclone collector where they undergo separation. Finally, these particles are discharged as finished products at the discharge valve. Air is drawn into the blower through a return pipe located at the top of cyclone collector. The entire airflow system operates as a sealed cycle under positive and negative pressure.

HGM Ultrafine Grinding Mill

The output capacity of the ultrafine mill ranges from 0.5 to 45 tons per hour, with a maximum feeding size of less than 20 mm and particle sizes ranging from 325 to 3000 mesh. What is the complete structure? The comprehensive structure of the feldspar mill consists of the main machine, analytical machine (powder separator), pipeline device, blower, finished cyclone separator, jaw crusher, hoist, electromagnetic vibration feeder, electric control motor, and other components. The main machine of the feldspar mill comprises a frame, air inlet volute, shovel knife, grinding roller, grinding ring, cover shell and motor.

When the main machine of the grinding mill is in operation, the grinding roller tightly rolls on the grinding ring under the centrifugal force. The material is then conveyed to the center of the grinding roll and the grinding ring by means of a shovel knife. Under high pressure from grinding, it is pulverized into fine powder. Subsequently, the pulverized material is propelled by a fan and passes through an analysis machine. The material that meets fineness requirements undergoes analysis, while any material that fails to meet requirements returns for further grinding in the chamber. Finally, utilizing a cyclone separator within an analyzer, materials are separated and collected with exhaust air passing through industrial filter cloth isolation to obtain powdered form.

CLUM Ultrafine Vertical Grinding Mill

Ultrafine vertical mill output per hour 1-20 tons, feed size < 20 mm, the particle size of 300-3000 mesh. The ultrafine vertical grinding machine is primarily comprised of a motor, reducer, grinding wheel device, roller device, pressure device, powder separator, feeding device, oil station, main engine, electric control system and other integral components. The roller device functions as the primary component for material rolling and operates passively through frictional contact with the material. The roller device serves as the grinding area for materials and is connected to the reducer while rotating autonomously. The pressure device regulates the gap between the grinding wheel and the roller plate to ensure appropriate grinding wheel pressure during operation. The separator adopts a multi-head powder selection structure and effectively sifts and filters fine powder in continuous production utilizing centrifugal force.

Working Principle

When the main motor decelerates through the gear reducer to drive the central shaft and the frame fixed on it, the grinding roll rotates around the central shaft under centrifugal force and swings parallel to the longitudinal arm shaft. This ensures effective contact between the grinding roll and the grinding ring, facilitating material crushing and grinding. Simultaneously, as it rotates with the grinding roll, shovel material is crushed. The pulverized powder is then blown by airflow from a blower to a separator above the main engine for separation. If particles are too coarse, they will fall back into the main engine cavity for re-grinding. If particle size meets requirements, it enters a cyclone collector with airflow and is collected before being discharged through a powder pipe as finished product.
